Maximising Shard Drops

How many Arachne shards you can expect per hour, and how to raise it.

Where the shards come from

Boss drop: about 0.25 Arachne shards per boss.
Charm: about 0.31 Arachne shards per boss with maximum charm chance, when you kill 9 mobs per boss.
Total: about 0.56 shards per boss, which is about 63 shards per hour at 112.5 bosses per hour.

Raising your charm chance

Exalted Lush Lilac Bonbon: +1% charm chance.
Naga shard: +0.5% charm chance.
Hunting 50: +2% charm chance.

Kill more mobs

Charm rolls happen on kills, so killing more Brood per boss gives more chances. The numbers above assume 9 mobs per boss.
Doing slayers, you only kill about 6 Brood per boss, so you get fewer charm shards.
