How to Quick Place Arachne
Cut the Arachne spawn from 40 seconds to 22 by placing while the boss is dying.
What quick placing is
Quick placing makes Arachne spawn in about 22 seconds instead of 40. You place the Arachne Crystal while the previous boss is still dying, so the next one is ready almost straight away.
How to do it
- Fight as normal until there are 5 Brood remaining in B2. The PLACE alert from Arachne Plus appears at this point.
- Etherwarp to the altar.
- Hold down right click on the altar while the boss is dying.
- If the quick place lands, Arachne spawns in 22 seconds. If it misses, the normal 40 second spawn applies.
Why it matters
- Faster spawns mean more bosses per hour. The profit analysis uses a crystal skip rate of 15 out of 16.
- Placing the crystal yourself also gives 10 extra Soul Strings per boss.
- Arachne Plus shows a big PLACE alert and a spawn timer, so you can see exactly when to place and which spawn you got.
